Terms and Conditions for Psychotherapy incorporating Internal Family Systems and Relational Intelligence
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions outline the guidelines and expectations for engaging in psychotherapy services incorporating Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Relational Intelligence (IR) techniques. By engaging in therapy with Herman Kvelprud, you agree to adhere to these terms and conditions.
2. Client-Therapist Relationship
2.1. Confidentiality: All information shared within therapy sessions is confidential unless required by law or professional ethics to disclose. This includes, but is not limited to, verbal communication, written records, and any other form of communication.
2.2. Boundaries: Respect for boundaries is essential for a therapeutic relationship. Clients are encouraged to communicate any discomfort or concerns regarding boundaries with the therapist.
2.3. Mutual Respect: Both the client and therapist agree to engage in therapy with mutual respect, understanding, and empathy.
3. Psychotherapy Process
3.1. Internal Family Systems (IFS): The therapist may utilize techniques from the Internal Family Systems model, which involves exploring and understanding the various parts of the self and their dynamics.
3.2. Relational Intelligence (IR): Relational intelligence focuses on enhancing the client's awareness and understanding of their nervous system, exploring attachment patterns and dynamics with themselves and others.

4. Responsibilities
4.1. Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for their own emotional and psychological well-being and for actively engaging in the therapeutic process.
4.2. Therapist Responsibility: The therapist is responsible for providing a safe and supportive therapeutic environment, adhering to professional ethics and standards, and offering appropriate guidance and interventions.
5. Fees and Payments
5.1. Fee Structure: The fee for therapy sessions is available at booking site.
5.2. Payment Terms: Payment for each session is paid in advance of service unless alternative arrangements have been made in advance.
5.3 Booking Terms: Appointment can be reimbursed or rescheduled up until 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Client is responsible for showing up in time and be technically prepared with good internet connection when meeting by virtual. Therapist will reschedule or reimburse if an appointment has to be cancelled or is abruptly terminated due to technical problems on the behalf of the therapist.
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1. Cancellation Notice: Clients are required to provide at least 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling of appointments.
6.2. Late Cancellation/No Show: A fee may be charged for appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or for missed appointments (no shows), unless due to extenuating circumstances.
7. Termination of Therapy
7.1. Mutual Agreement: Therapy may be terminated by mutual agreement between the client and therapist.
7.2. Therapist Discretion: The therapist reserves the right to terminate therapy if they determine that it is not in the best interest of the client or if ethical boundaries are breached.

8.1. Legal Compliance: Both the client and therapist agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to psychotherapy services.

9. Consent to Treatment
By engaging in therapy with Herman Kvelprud, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Furthermore, they consent to participate in therapy sessions incorporating Internal Family Systems and Relational Intelligence techniques.
